How the sync actually works
No brittle CSV exports, no nightly batch jobs. Everything is event-driven and idempotent.
Two-way, in seconds
An order changes in Shopify, a ticket updates in Zendesk, a parcel moves with DHL — Cairn sees it and the transcript stays true.
Idempotent actions
Every refund, cancellation and label is keyed, so a retry never double-charges or ships twice. Replayable from the audit log.
Scoped permissions
Grant only the scopes you need — read orders, write fulfilment notes, issue refunds up to a ceiling. Revocable at any time.
